In this regard, we recall the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as the words of His Highness, in which he declares, “Caring for motherhood and child care are among UAE’s top priorities, understanding the basis for achieving sustainable and comprehensive development, and ensuring the sustainability of nations and peoples.” In the light of this, the smart government has launched a comprehensive strategy for early childhood care allowing it to keep up with the needs of the next fifty years. In addition to establishing councils and agencies to supervise early childhood programs in our dear country, it has also launched unique initiatives and projects pertaining to this category.
Among these initiatives is what the Khalifa Award for Education launched from the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Khalifa Award for Education, a field that the award introduces for the first time in the world. This is intended to promote the process of enhancing children and early education by offering its two categories in Best Research and Studies, and Best Programs, Curricula, Teaching Methodologies, and Practices.
